Thinkin' Outloud...

Training is over. Big whoop.

I'll miss the hall. The big beefy instructors.

I'm feeling a little melancholy. Not only because it's raining cats and dogs...though, I think the reason why it is raining is because my jolly old next door neighbor who reminds me of Santa, whom Sean and I conversed with over the summer about Grubs eating his newly planted grass, how he's proud of owning his hundered year old house, how he's happy to have us as neighbors...has passed on. So sad.

Last night around 11 P.M Sean calls to tell me they've blocked off the main road to our apartment...There was a fire truck, two ambulances and cruisers parked in front of our neighbors house. I watched out the dining room window as e.m.t personal rolled a stretcher into the house. I could see the kids upstairs pacing the floor and could actually hear them screaming and crying. One of the girls opened up a window and vomitted. The next thing I know I see them roll him out on the stretcher pounding at his chest giving him C.P.R (which I am now certified in since Wednesday).
Something was definitely wrong though...They were certainly taking forever to take off and zoom straight to the hospital. I could still see them trying to revive him. And slowly, without sirens, they drove away.

It hurts to think about how I won't see him during the summer while I wash dishes and stare out the kitchen window as he bbq's dinner for his family.
Sometimes as I'd leave the driveway, I'd honk my horn to say hello and he'd smile big and wave. He was very nice to us and is very much appreciated.

I'm still in shock.

Thinkin' Outloud...

Today was a big wake up call for all of us at training. I don't want to explain on here, though I am allowed to talk about it...

I will share it with those whom I care about.

Thinkin' Outloud...

I'm very tired and my body aches. I hope I'm not catching anything. I don't want to be sick.

Today, I was given a tour of the facilities which to me, was exciting. I kept ooohing and said, "This is NEAT" a lot and I'm sure the Training Officer thought I was a nimrod but I DID think it was cool. By the way, my T.O for the day was VERY handsome.

I've noticed I've been eating out a lot. It needs to stop especially since I'll be making a major purchase soon. I have to do my taxes soon, too.

Backtracking to last weekend, I had a lot of fun. Went to a dessert party on Saturday and had fabulous desserts. Then the ever so stressful SuperBowl was on Sunday. I threw my very own SuperBowl party for one.

Anyway, this work week has thrown me off kilter. I have to get up at 6 A.M this whole week. Next week, back to normal.

Tomorrow is Hump day. YaY!

WHY MUST I HAVE TO BE AWAKE THIS EARLY.

Thinkin' Outloud...

ELEANOR!!! I GOT THAT CARD - DO YA REMEMBER WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT?!?! WELL, I GOT IT!

How exciting for me.

And thank you for introducing me to those tasty margherita's. I've decided that it's my second favorite alcoholic drink.

Thinkin' Outloud...

That was the best fucking football game ever...(well, except for the game where the Bears won the Super Bowl a long, long time ago). Big bro won some cash playing squares and is giving it to ME! (to save for a rainy day)

Man, that game made my nerves shot and my throat sore. I am happy the Pats won. The game was great. Panthers fought hard but the best team won.

But now, I feel sick to my stomach.
