Right now I'm relaxing, brushing up on my office 2000 skills (Thanks Eleanor).

You know, I swear I updated this blog the other night and it DID post but now it's gone....Was it just a dream??? It's driving me nuts cause I swear I had posted something.

Well, Happy October 1st everyone.

I'm making snicker doodles. Mare told me she was baking some and it got my salivary glands flowing so I decided to make some, too.

There's one problem tho. They don't taste good...atleast, I can't tell at the moment. It just tastes like I'm biting into air. But you know how it goes...when you cook the food, you really can't taste it right away or you don't feel like eating it.

They are so light and fluffy. After baking six of these snicker doodles, I decided to add chocolate chips to the mixture so now they are chocolate snicker doodles.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I do love to cook. Cooking helps keep me at peace.
Last week I roasted a pork shoulder because my sister told me Ron, my brother in law was making "Lechon" which is a Filipino dish a.k.a roasted pig.
This pork shoulder was HUGE and it came out perfect. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Our house smelled like a Hawaiian Luau for a couple days.

Mmm. Food.

What will I make next?
