Thinkin' Outloud...

So I didn't go upstairs to my neighbors. Instead, I am sitting here with Sushi and watching my favorite show, Roseanne. There's a Roseanne Marathon goin' on. Yea!

I don't know why I was craving sushi but I just ate a shit load of california rolls, yellow fin, salmon and tuna. I am pretty full.

Sean's upstairs with the neighbors and I hope he's behaving himself. He gave them the rest of the Keg from our Christmas party. They are happy about it because they especially like the brand of beer Sean chose.
I feel bad for not going upstairs but I am feeling very anti-social. In fact, I think I am going to hermatize myself for the next couple weeks. Although, Christmas and New Years is around the corner and I will try to get into the spirit of things.

Well, I guess I'll skedaddle, have a great weekend.

Two toll booths and four dollars, 30 minutes of driving, later...

I finally decided to nix plans to go to the South Shore for some shopping/movie fun and just stay in Boston to have dinner and a movie with Heather.

I fucking hate whomever designed the alternate routes for the BIG DIG construction site.

We ate at Sunset Grill, I was looking forward to having what Eleanor ate the night of Seans birthday party and what I thought was a grilled eggplant was a friggen mushroom and I ended up ordering the wrong thing. Oh well, it still tasted fine. I should have called El Capitane and asked her what the exact name was but no, I had assume and ordered the wrong thing. You know what they say about assuming. You make an asshole out of yourself.

We saw Something's Gotta Give, with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton...Very funny flick if you like that type of movie. ( I liked it ) It's something I'd own on DVD to watch on a rainy day.

Then I dropped Heather off, then went home. Neighbors party is tonight. We'll see if I'll drag myself upstairs to partake in some Christmas fun.

The end.

Thinkin' Outloud...

And so the tradition begins...

Watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation tonight. That's right, I said Christmas. You got a problem with that?

This movie never ceases to crack me up. That's right, I said crack. You got a problem with that?

I have so many favorite parts in this movie. One of 'em is the Christmas dinner. Ha ha ha.

Earlier we had dinner with Karen tonight. We ate at Jimbo's and just ate like pigs. I especially enjoyed picking at Sean's meal, and my chocolate mousse. Yum Yum.

I finally found a red bag. I found it when I went to return the cargo pants I bought myself but found a hole in it so I had to go back and return it. I did some browsing - I wasn't going to but I got a kick ass parking spot and there was a shit load of people shopping so I figured I'd stick around and then I saw it.
I'm not sure I like it, now that I have it in my possesion. We'll see what happens.

Thinkin' Outloud...

Dear Mare:

I thought long and hard about it...

I think you and I should get a job at a factory. We could be the next Laverne and Shirley. Maybe we can be meat inspectors or something. Or maybe, work at Yankee Candle, then we could have all the candles we want.

I went shopping today and almost bought three purses for myself. I knew it was the wrong thing to do but you'll be happy to know I didn't go through with it.
I put the purses in my buggy and walked around the store while I did my Christmas shopping and one by one I put them back on the rack. Sigh.

I'm sitting here wearing mens thermal underwear and I'm reminiscing about the days when we'd swim in your Ma's pool and how you tried to teach me to swim. Gosh, those were the days. I still have no idea how to swim, but it's okay.

This is what happens to me when I have a large iced white chocolate mocha. And I had this iced white chocolate mocha yesterday.

Thinkin' Outloud...

I'm feeling very decrepit. You know, I had to look up the word decrepit because I wasn't sure what it meant but after reading the definition, it fits my situation perfectly.
My innards feel like they are twisting and turning. I feel out of it, out of place.

I'm sitting here in a pair of mens thermal under pants, a plain tshirt and a scarf around my neck and I feel the urge to scratch some balls.

I have a mixture of emotions going through me. I want to make rice krispey treats but can't because a nameless person who specializes in oil potato soup used up all MY BUTTER.
I tried using nameless persons' Country Crock Extra Calcium butter to make my treats but it tastes yucky.

God Bless Animal Precinct and the A.S.P.C.A

That is all I have to say for now.

Carry on.

Thinkin' Outloud...

Ahh the dreaded holiday party...

It turned out to be fun. I am glad Sean planned it. I was happy with the turn out, even though a few people left early, I was happy with the company we had left.

We held our 2nd Annual Yankee Swap, had more people participating this year which made it even more fun.
I ended up with a Champagne Vase that Jessi brought. Champagne glasses that look like flowers and only stand up in a vase. It's funny because, I've seen it in Sky Mall Magazines whenever I fly and I always admire it and tell myself I'm going to buy it one day. AND NOW I HAVE IT AND I WON IT THROUGH A YANKEE SWAP.

The gift that I donated, I thought was a neat idea. I usually donate funky gifts. Well this time, I don't think it was a hit. I ended up donating a...tea kettle. I dunno, I picked it out last minute and I thought someone would like it cause it's functional.
Oh well, I'm happy with what I got.

We had a couple people stay late and despite the food we had left, we ordered pizza and cinnamon sticks. We wanted to go to Fajita's & Rita's but alas, they weren't open.

Anyhow, I am tired. I've got sooo-oooo much cleaning to do.
You know, I didn't think I'd have much fun tonight, but I did.

Good times.
